
Kevin Dugan
Kevin Dugan began serving as the full time Director of Sweetlax Florida in the Fall of 2018.
Dugan, a former midfielder at the University of Notre Dame, has twelve years of NCAA coaching experience. His resume includes stops at Yale, Gordon, Scranton, Notre Dame and Wheeling Jesuit. He compiled a 53-21 (.71 %) record as a head coach at the NCAA level earning Conference Coach of the Year honors twice (TCC NCAA DIII, ECAC NCAA DII) and spent time learning from some of the sport’s best coaches; Andy Shay (Yale), Kevin Corrigan (Notre Dame) and Bear Davis (Ohio Machine, MLL).
Dugan is a member of the Federation of International Lacrosse Development Committee. IN 2015 he was given the Hayes FIL Development award for pioneering the sports of lacrosse in East Africa and Jamaica, ultimately leading to the formation of lacrosse associations in Uganda and Jamaica. He has served as an FIL clinician in Haiti, Kenya, Colombia, France, Spain and Mexico. Dugan continues to travel regularly to Kingston, Jamaica, where he helps coordinate the Taino and Maroon Cup high school competitions.
A graduate of Notre Dame, Dugan was part of their 2001 NCAA Final Four squad and earned a degree in Finance before going on to get his MBA. He was on the Faculty Board of Athletics Academic Honor Roll each semester. Dugan prepped at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ and is a native of Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ.
